CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARD A MONOGRAPH OF AMERICAN SPECIES OF Eragrostis (POACEAE: CHLORIDOIDEAE: ERAGROSTIDEAE): NOVELTIES FOR COLOMBIA, MEXICO AND PERU

Abstract

Eragrostis acutiflora (Kunth) Nees, E. bahiensis Schrad. ex Schult., and E. secundiflora J. Presl are cited for the first time for Peru, while E. soratensis Jedwabn. and E. unioloides (Retz.) Nees ex Steud. are cited for the first time for Colombia and Mexico, respectively. Descriptions are provided for the five species treated herein, including synonyms, and ecological and geographic distribution. Keywords: Chloridoideae; Eragrostis; Poaceae; Neotropical grasses.
