Abstract

Objective: A survey of Trichiales and Liciales orders in the Catamarca ́s Yungas was performed. Methodology: Fresh samples were collected and compared with herbarium collections. The most representative and specific features are illustrated. Results: Perichaena chrysosperma, P. depressa, Cribraria aurantiaca, Hemitrichia calyculata, H. serpula, Metatrichia vesparia and Trichia favoginea, were taxonomically identified. Conclusion: Two species are recorded for the first time to the Northwest of Argentina, two genera are recorded for the first time for Catamarca and the distribution area of a single specie is enlarged.
