Objective: To provide information of new records and consequent extension of Teratohyla pulverata distribution for Colombia. Methodology: Visual records of possible individuals of T. pulverata were obtained. The individuals and photographs of the species located in the different geographical points were corroborated by reviewing taxonomic keys and biological collections, consulting experts, databases and articles innational and international journals. Once the information was verified, the distribution map of the speciesin Colombia was generated. Results: New distribution records for T. pulverata in Colombia are presented. These are part of the departments of Antioquia, Caldas and Chocó. Additionally, an extension of the range of distribution of this species to the North and West of Colombia is presented. This species has a wide distribution in Central and South America; therefore, studies are required to identify the mor phological and molecular variation throughout its distribution. Additionally, the diversity of the Centrolenidaefamily in Colombia is still changing, due to the appearance of synonyms, review of scientific collectionsand detection of new species, or populations of already recognized species. The biological collections still have information gaps that need to be revised, and that may show the presence of new species or new distribution records for many representatives of this family. Conclusions: Field trips and the review of biological collections can offer information, which will- promote the documentation of natural history, ecology, management and conservation for this species and other representatives of the family.
